SathiKo Sath Nepal is a non-profit organization established with the mission of providing quality education, care, and opportunities to children from trekking communities and underprivileged families in Nepal. The organization primarily supports the children of guides, cooks, and porters associated with Nepal’s trekking industry, helping them overcome financial and social barriers to education.
Registered under the Organization Registration Act of Nepal and operating in multiple districts, including Dhading, Dolakha, Kavre, Okhaldhunga, Solukhumbu, Kathmandu, and Nuwakot, SathiKo Sath Nepal selects children from diverse ethnic communities such as Sherpa, Newar, Tamang, Gurung, and Magar through a fair and traditional Gola selection system.
Over the years, the organization has focused on providing holistic development, including academic support, life skills, and cultural awareness. By collaborating with donors, sponsors, and local communities, SathiKo Sath Nepal aims to empower children with knowledge, confidence, and opportunities for a brighter future. Its vision is to create an inclusive society where every child, regardless of background, can access education and achieve their full potential.
